Applications

iMonitor technology is developed for Cool Store applications under the APRI brand. iMonitor technology provides operators with detailed temperature and relative humidity control systems and presents this information in real time in a spatially accurate 3D model.

The iMonitor technology is designed to enhance risk management by optimising storage efficiencies, reducing waste, optimising resources and minimising losses. The APRI technology allows users to specify and enforce precise conditions, maintain detailed records for thorough analysis and consistently meet mandated requirements.

Originally developed and customised for one specific industry, iMonitor monitoring systems have applicability to any location where maintaining and monitoring precise environmental conditions is vital.

iMonitor probes are designed to measure the core temperature of any product with great accuracy. Two sensors are also mounted on the probe measuring the air temperature and humidity of the room. The probes are battery powered and portable with no connecting cables.

iMonitor probes can withstand and operate across wide temperature and humidity ranges.

Several monitors are placed around the walls and ceiling of a storage area to collect information that is transmitted from the probes. This information is then transmitted by radio to a data collection point for three dimensional computer display or via an internet connection. In addition to this the locators also have the ability to trace and locate the actual position of individual product probes.

Information on the performance of the facility and its contents is passed on in real time to the operator. Automatic parameter monitoring is loaded into the system so the operator(s) can be alerted immediately if there is a potential problem or if the system is drifting out of the optimum operational window(s).

The system is currently being enhanced to include functionality to predict and pro-actively react to movements in environmental conditions before they become an issue.
